Hungarian American Cultural Association (HACA)
The Hungarian American Cultural Association (HACA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
that supports Hungarian cultural events in the Washington DC area, as well as across
the United States. In 2013, HACA played a significant role in supporting the Hungarian
exhibition at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Over one million visitors learned so much
about Hungary during this exhibition.
Presently, HACA is helping to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution,
a fight for Freedom and Democracy.
HACA is also celebrating and honoring the special bond that exists between Hungary and the US by
supporting a Commemorative Gala which will be held on October 16th, 2016 at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium.
HACA has been collaborating with the Hungarian-American Community to make this Gala a memorable one.
